Safety management software for Australian subcontractors
SubbieSure keeps the safety work subcontractors already do — SWMS, prestarts, toolbox talks, hazards, incidents and investigations — in one place per project, so records are complete before anyone asks for them.
What is safety management software?
Safety management software records and routes the safety work a subcontractor already does: work method statements, prestart checks, toolbox talks, hazard and incident reports, investigations and corrective actions. It keeps those records together per project and makes them retrievable when a client, auditor or regulator asks.
What safety records does SubbieSure manage?
- Digital SWMS with hazards, risk ratings and controls
- Daily prestarts and site sign-on, with a live timeline of who signed on
- Toolbox talks with attendance recorded
- Incidents, hazards and observations reported on site with photos
- Investigations with stages, active follow-ups and closed-out corrective actions
- Custom forms, registers, ITPs and audits with digital sign-off
How does digital SWMS work on site?
Safety statements are issued per project with their hazards, risk ratings and controls, then signed off from any device. Because the statement lives beside the project, the crew opening it on site sees the current version rather than a printed copy of an old one. SubbieSure also includes a Work Method Statement builder for creating and issuing statements.
Can SWMS and toolbox talk sign-off be enforced?
Yes. Sign-off can be enforced at prestart, so workers sign on against the current SWMS and toolbox talk before starting work. Attendance is recorded against the talk, which keeps the record complete rather than relying on a paper sheet left in a site shed.
What happens when someone reports a hazard or incident?
Reports are made on the spot with photos and feed into the safety analytics. Incidents, hazards and observations can become investigations with stages and active follow-ups, so corrective actions are tracked to closure. Equipment and plant requests can be logged the same way and tracked to completion.
What safety reporting does SubbieSure provide?
SubbieSure turns site records into a live safety picture: a safety score, severity and hazard analytics, and tracking of lost-time injuries and notifiable incidents so the record is audit-ready. Because safety sits beside projects, scheduling, people and documents, reporting can be viewed against the job it belongs to.
Does it work on phones and offline?
SubbieSure is available on the web and through iOS and Android apps. The mobile apps include offline mode and sync when a connection is available again — useful on sites without reliable coverage. Test your own workflow in a demo before deciding it fits.
Does safety software guarantee WHS compliance?
No. Software helps manage records and workflows; it does not replace competent supervision, site-specific risk assessments, consultation or your legal duties. Check that your SWMS and safety processes meet the requirements for the work and jurisdiction.
