Subcontractor management software for Australian trade businesses

Subcontractors do not run a smaller version of a builder's business. They run crews across multiple head contractors, with their own compliance, their own labour cost and their own paperwork. SubbieSure is built for that shape.

What is subcontractor management software?

Subcontractor management software runs the parts of a trade business that are not the actual trade: who is working where, whether their tickets and licences are current, what hours went to which project, what safety records exist for each job, and where the documents are. For a subcontractor the scope is usually wider than a single tool: it is the business behind the work.

Why not use a builder's platform?

Head-contractor platforms are designed around the builder's compliance and document requirements. They collect what the builder needs and often do not give the subcontractor a view of their own labour cost, their own crew's competencies or their own safety record across every client. A subcontractor needs the record to work for them, not only for the party paying the invoice.

What does SubbieSure cover?

Projects, personnel records, licences and competencies, onboarding and inductions, rostering, timesheets, equipment and maintenance, documents organised by job, and the site forms a crew completes: prestarts, SWMS, toolbox talks, incidents and hazards, investigations, ITPs and audits, variations, deliveries, drawing markup and the project diary. Reporting and role-based access sit across the platform.

How does it handle compliance across multiple clients?

Each client can require a different set of documents, inductions and safety records. Because records sit against people and projects rather than in a folder per client, the same licence or induction can be reused where it is accepted, and gaps are visible before a worker is turned away at the gate. SubbieSure does not automatically know every client's requirements; those still have to be configured.

What about a small crew?

The platform is priced per active user in progressive tiers, so a ten-person crew does not pay enterprise rates. Onboarding is included and a free one-month trial is available. For a very small business with one crew and one client, a narrower tool may be enough; SubbieSure earns its place when there are several projects, several clients or a growing crew.

How do we migrate from spreadsheets?

Most subcontractors start with people, projects and one or two forms rather than moving everything at once. Bring your current spreadsheet, your licence register and a site form to a demo and we will show what maps across and what needs rebuilding.

How much does SubbieSure cost?

Pricing is in Australian dollars and excludes GST. Rates are progressive per active user:

Active usersPer user, per month
First 100AUD $25
101–200AUD $20
Above 200AUD $15

These are progressive tiers, not a single rate applied to the whole team. Onboarding is included and a free one-month trial is available. Confirm current terms with SubbieSure before budgeting.
