ITP software for inspection and test plans

An inspection and test plan is only as good as its sign-offs. SubbieSure keeps ITPs against the project, with the inspection, the evidence and the signature in the same record.

What is an ITP?

An inspection and test plan sets out the inspections and tests required for an element of work, the acceptance criteria, who signs each step, and where work must stop for verification: hold points and witness points. It is the quality record that shows the work was checked before it was covered up.

How does SubbieSure handle ITPs?

ITPs and audits run as digital forms with sign-off, sitting alongside the project they belong to. Inspection records, photos and signatures stay together, and the completed plan is retrievable by project rather than filed by whoever last had the folder.

Can we use our own ITP templates?

Yes. SubbieSure supports custom forms and registers, so your own ITP format, hold points and acceptance criteria can be used rather than forced into someone else's template. Bring a current ITP to a demo and we will map it.

How does sign-off work on site?

Inspections are completed from a phone or tablet, with photos attached and sign-off recorded against the step. The mobile apps work offline and sync when coverage returns, which matters for inspections in plant rooms, basements and service risers.

How do ITPs connect to the rest of the quality record?

ITPs sit with documents, drawing markup, variations, deliveries and the project diary. When a client asks why a pour was signed off on a particular day, the inspection, the photos, the drawing revision and the delivery docket are all against the same project.

Does an ITP guarantee the work is correct?

No. An ITP records that the specified inspection or test was carried out and accepted by the nominated person. Whether the criteria are right, and whether the inspection was competent, is a professional and contractual matter, not something the software decides.
